One of the questions that I get asked frequently is, “Are there any work-at-home jobs for felons?” This is a popular topic for a couple of reasons, one being that there are a lot of people who would prefer not to submit to a background check and others just want to be given the same opportunity to work from home without having their past to prevent them from doing so. Although many companies require that you submit a background check to even be considered as a possible candidate to work for them, you may be surprised to know that a lot of companies do not have this stipulation at all.
Why?
Because that issue or occurrence(s) has nothing to do with your job duties or job performance.
If you are applying to a company that will require you to handle sensitive information from their clients/customers in the form of credit card numbers, collecting payments over the phone, or something of this nature, then a background check may be necessary. Some companies may even require their applicants to complete a credit and background check as a part of their policy but fortunately, there are quite a few companies that don’t have this stipulation at all.
So if you are a person who desires to work from home but is not too sure which companies you can apply to or what you can do, hopefully, this list of work-at-home employers as well as other money-making sites will give you some realistic job leads and options for you to be able to work from home and finally make money online.

Just a note for anyone with a felony background looking for at home work. If the business you are applying at uses an outside background check company which most do. Then that background check by law can only go back 7 years due to the FCRA. So, if it’s been seven years you are probably good. I know someone with a record over 7 years that has had no problem getting work at home jobs. If the company does their checks in house then it can go back further. Most of your top work at home companies outsource this service however.
