What are the Job Duties?
As a Call Center Rep, you are responsible for monitoring medical alerts and secondary alarms. You may also receive phone calls regarding emergency and non-emergency support. Those calls could include

- emergency ambulance service
- after-hour calls for departments
Your job is to determine the response requirement and dispatch the calls accordingly. You will also record the details of calls, dispatches, and messages. These calls must be handled with genuine care and concern.
At times, these individuals may simply want to chat with you or need a little extra support. That’s where you come in. To make them feel at ease. Because the calls will vary, your responses may be scripted or non-scripted. It really depends on the nature of the call.
What are the Requirements?
VRI requires their Call Center Agents to be self-motivated, proficient computer users, have good communication skills, and can manage multiple tasks. You can apply to this position even if you don’t have a high school diploma. A GED is sufficient.
What schedules can I work?
All the schedules include working a Saturday or Sunday or both. They have at least 4 different options for you to choose from depending on the shift you select. You will be required to work full-time.
